Ingredients:-
- Green figs
- Streaky bacon - thin; roll under rolling pin if too thick
- Blue cheese
- Balsamic vineagar
- Salad leaves
- Feta cheese
- Blue cheese
- Tomato
- Pomegranate seeds
- Seedless grapes or olives - halved
- Soft Goats cheese
- Mint chopped
Method:-
- Pre-heat oven to gas mark 5
- Cut almost half through each fig, squeeze blue cheese between, close and wrap with bacon.Seal with a cocktail stick.
- Place figs on baking plate with the goat's cheese.
- Drizzle Balsamic vineagar over the figs.
- Bake for 15 to 25 minutes.
- After about 10 minutes remove the cheese and after about 15 minutes turn oven to maximum to finish the figs.
- Make salad of leaves and arrange on each plate. Scatter the other ingredients over the salad.
- Put warmed goat's cheese in centre
- When bacon cooked place figs in centre of each plate. .
- Sprinkle mint leaves over the plates.
- Eat.
