Ingredients:-
Tandoori curry paste
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon ground coriander
- 2 teaspoons ground garam masala
- 2 teaspoons sweet Paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon hot Chilli powder - or 1/2 teaspoon gochaguru powder
- Juice of half a Lemon
- 1 or 2 tablespoons olive oil as needed
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- ½ teaspoon Turmeric
- 1 tablespoon Tomato puree
- 1 teaspoon garlic in a jar
- 1 teaspoon ginger in a jar
For the fish
- 1 or 2 tablespoons yoghurt as needed
Method:-
- Make the tandoori paste
- In a large bowl add yoghurt and half of the paste, mix well and coat the basa fillets. Set aside.
- Heat the oven to Gas Mark 5
- Wrap the fish, complete with marinade, loosely in foil and bake for about 20 minutes - check it is cooked before serving
