Ingredients:-

    Tandoori curry paste

    • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
    • 1/2 teaspoon ground coriander
    • 2 teaspoons ground garam masala
    • 2 teaspoons sweet Paprika
    • 1/2 teaspoon hot Chilli powder - or 1/2 teaspoon gochaguru powder
    • Juice of half a Lemon
    • 1 or 2 tablespoons olive oil as needed
    • 1 teaspoon Salt
    • ½ teaspoon Turmeric
    • 1 tablespoon Tomato puree
    • 1 teaspoon garlic in a jar
    • 1 teaspoon ginger in a jar

    For the fish

    • 1 or 2 tablespoons yoghurt as needed

    Method:-

    • Make the tandoori paste
    • In a large bowl add yoghurt and half of the paste, mix well and coat the basa fillets. Set aside.
    • Heat the oven to Gas Mark 5
    • Wrap the fish, complete with marinade, loosely in foil and bake for about 20 minutes - check it is cooked before serving
