Ingredients:-
- 600ml of double cream
- Generous half teaspoon of salt
Method:-
- Put all the cream in a food processor and use the setting 1 (of 2) to whisk the butter.
- Keep it going for 5 minutes (or maybe a bit more if needed) until there is definite solid butter and molky buttermilk.
- Strain of the buttermilk and use for baking.
- Wash the butter in cold water.
- Dry as best you can and then add salt. Mix very well.
- Form into a block and refrigerate.
