This is such a flavoursome Indian dish. Traditionally a starter, although I prefer as a main. The lemon, coriander and spices make the chicken so succulent. One of my all time favourites. Serve with rice, Bombay potato, bhajis, naans.

Ingredients:-
- Serves: 2
- 1 medium onion
- oil for frying
- 1 medium green chilli (optional)
- 1 large garlic clove, chopped
- 2 chicken breasts (good size), cubed into 1 to 2cm pieces
- 2 tablespoons tomato puree
- 1 tablespoon garam masala
- salt to taste
- 2 teaspoons chaat masala
- 85g chopped cucumber
- 2 tomatoes, chopped
- chopped fresh coriander
- lemon for squeezing

Ingredients:-
Method:-
- Prep:20min › Cook:25min › Ready in:45min
- Chop the onions and fry with a little oil in large pan until they begin to brown.
- Add the chilli if you are using. Cook for 2 minutes then add garlic.
- Add the chicken and continue to cook until chicken is 90% cooked (almost no pink left in the centre). Stir occasionally.
- Add the tomato purée, garam masala and salt to taste. Cook for 2 minutes, stirring gently.
- Add the chaat masala and cook for 2 minutes, stirring.
- Add the chopped cucumber and tomatoes and continue to stir.
- Add desired amount of coriander leaves to pan and squeeze in some lemon juice.
- Once served, add additional lemon to taste.
